At Highland Park Holistic Therapy we hold space for the totality of the person and their experiences, for all aspects of your experience - the physical, the spiritual and the psychological. This means we take an integrative approach to healing. We aim to bring consciousness to every part of you. We do not view a person in pain as someone who is broken that needs fixing. You are not just a diagnosis and a prescription. Rather, the symptoms that brought you here, like depression and anxiety, we see as signals that something in your psyche needs tending to and cared for. Instead of disowning what is hurting inside, or attacking yourself for how you feel, together, we will compassionately turn toward it to find out what it needs. This kind of exploration and internal integration brings about lasting relief, improved relationships, and whole-person well-being.

I support high-achieving professionals and students in Orange County and virtually across California in managing anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and burnout. Together, we’ll tackle setting boundaries, achieving work-life balance, overcoming people-pleasing tendencies, and navigating the pressure of high expectations. The goal isn't to give up optimizing your routine or lower your ambitions, but rather to find a sustainable, cohesive way to meet your demands without being run into the ground. My approach blends warmth, humor, and a nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly seen. Therapy works best when it’s based in genuine connection. A place where you don’t have to pretend to “have it all together.” I make no claims to perfection, and I won't hold you that claim either. Hello and thank you for stopping by! I received my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University (2019) and my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California (2010). I am a faith based therapist who works with high functioning individuals, youth/adolescents, adults in college and the work force, people with health challenges, and those facing various issues, such as improving communication, enhancing relationships, gaining clarity, and feeling stuck. My specialties include adjustment difficulties, spirituality, loss and grief, life stressors, relationship issues, first generation, school issues, attachment and immigration trauma. I adapt my treatment approach to each individual client, and though I often use a psychodynamic approach with cognitive behavioral interventions, and stress reduction techniques, I frequently use techniques from family systems, object relations, humanistic therapy, narrative therapy, and client-centered. I'm a good match for individuals longing to connect with themselves, partners figuring out how to be true to themselves in a committed relationship, and parents wanting to be more conscious parents. I offer therapy sessions in English and Spanish via telehealth only. Please note that I am a self-pay practice. I am not an in-network provider with any insurance, nor do I work directly with insurance companies. Being a self-pay practice helps maintain the utmost level of privacy for my clients. I find it essential to let you know that insurance companies require a formal diagnosis to apply for reimbursement. The insurance company may also request your therapy records. The diagnosis would stay in your insurance records without the possibility to amend or change it, even after the circumstances in your life improves. Self-pay provides and allows the provision of services without the restrictions of insurance regulations, insurance adjusters, or their third party adjusting agencies. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California: LCSW # 79259

Navigate your healing journey and cultivate greater peace of mind with professional guidance and support. I offer holistic, integrative counseling in San Luis Obispo, or by telehealth.
Before I became a psychotherapist I was a neuroscientist with the focus on neuropsychology. My approach in therapy is informed by my understanding of the brain/mind/body interplay. I practice solution-oriented evidence-based approaches, and enjoy working with high-functioning clients who want to boost their resilience and emotional intelligence.
Hi, I’m Coreetha Entzminger, a Registered Psychological Associate with a deep commitment to supporting mental health and wellness for children, families, and individuals from all walks of life. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked as a crisis counselor and child advocate in both nonprofit and private practice settings, helping people navigate everything from trauma and anxiety to life transitions and stress. I’ve always been drawn to this work because I believe in the power of healing, growth, and connection—and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward positive change. In addition to my clinical work, I’m involved in several other areas that support mental health awareness and education. I’m a member of the American Psychological Association’s Division 53, which focuses on clinical child and adolescent psychology, and I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to research for both federal and county-level institutions in Washington, D.C. I also teach as an adjunct professor in the psychology department at Myrtle Beach College, where I create course content for undergraduate students. Sharing knowledge and helping others grow—whether in the classroom or in a community workshop—is a big part of who I am. Academically, I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Montclair State University in New Jersey and a Master’s in Psychology from Arizona State University. I also hold certifications in child advocacy and applied behavior analysis, and I’m currently working toward my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at California Southern University. When I work with clients, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach. Therapy with me is very much a partnership—we work together to understand what’s going on, where you want to go, and how we can get there. I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, special needs, stress, and major life transitions, and I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients better understand how their thoughts and emotions impact behavior. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and stigma-free, where you feel supported and empowered to explore, heal, and grow. In our first session, I’ll take time to really get to know you and your story. We’ll talk about your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and any patterns or experiences that might be influencing your current challenges. From there, we’ll shape each session around your needs and goals, always moving at a pace that feels right for you. I aim to strike a balance between being supportive and gently challenging—because sometimes a little push is what we need to move forward. If you’re thinking about therapy, know that you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
