I provide a safe, non judgmental space for you to unpack your struggles. By using thoughtful questions, I aim to guide you in finding greater insight and more awareness into thoughts and patterns. The modality I most align with is mindfulness based CBT which focuses on identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns that lead to depression and anxiety. What makes my practice unique is my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and to support them in their personal growth. I'm attuned to the themes and blocks that often go unspoken, and I'm passionate about this work because I believe healing and self discovery are powerful tools for creating a better, more compassionate world.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD-related concerns, phobias, and sleep difficulties Over the past several years, I have noticed that many college students struggle academically due to undiagnosed ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and attention-related concerns that may go overlooked. In response to this need, I have added comprehensive and affordable ADHD diagnostic testing to my practice to help students better understand their difficulties, access appropriate treatment recommendations, and obtain accommodations when clinically indicated for academic settings and standardized testing. In addition to ADHD testing, I frequently work with students experiencing anxiety, obsessive thinking, perfectionism, panic, OCD symptoms, sleep disruption, and stress related to academic performance and life transitions.

It's ok to ask for help. But it's also ok to wonder if a therapist can really help you. It's true that I can't erase your past or instantly take away your pain (although I wish I could). However, I can help you carry your burdens more lightly, whether that means healing from trauma, finding closure from a relationship, or learning new ways of coping with depression and anxiety. I can offer you a new perspective on the issues that you are dealing with. You have struggled alone long enough. Therapy is your time to feel supported and understood. I have extensive experience treating a variety of issues (see list of specialties below). I use several therapeutic approaches including person-centered, strength-based, interpersonal, compassion focused, multicultural, and CBT. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach. We will work together to figure out the best approach for your individual needs. I know it's difficult to reach out to someone you hardly know and share struggles that are so deeply personal to you. I will offer you a safe space where you can just come as you are. Clients describe me as kind, caring, and nonjudgmental. Please contact me for a complimentary consultation to see if we might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Do you find yourself overcome with anxiety, stress, or intrusive thoughts? You may feel stuck in your own head, think negative "what-if" thoughts, or replay social situations in your mind, critiquing what you said and overanalyzing how everyone else responded. Are you ready to make a change? If so, allow me to guide you in shifting your mind from being your arch enemy to your powerful ally. My clients and I work together as a team. We will talk about the negative thinking patterns affecting you the most, and strategies to change them so that you can breathe a sigh of relief as you feel their grip on you loosen. My clients learn new ways of approaching their thoughts, and techniques to calm their minds for immediate and long-term relief. Practicing these tools in-between our sessions ensures that you are developing new healthy habits to support lasting change. I use strategies based on scientific research so you can get the results you are looking for. If you are tired of feeling stuck and are ready to take that first step toward feeling better, call or email me today. Change starts from within, and I am here to guide you in that process.

At Hive Health, we believe healing is not one‑size‑fits‑all. Whether you’re a medical student carrying the weight of burnout, a young adult navigating life transitions, or a teen exploring your identity, you deserve care that sees the whole you. Like a hive, our well‑being is interconnected. When one part struggles, the whole system feels it. That’s why our approach is trauma‑informed, holistic, and culturally humble, addressing not just symptoms, but the deeper roots of stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout.
I know how easy it is to fall into the trap of believing you need to ‘fix’ yourself in order to be happy. My goal is to help you break free from self-judgment and step into a healthier, more balanced version of yourself. We’ll work together to understand all aspects of who you are, using a holistic approach that acknowledges both your struggles and your strengths.

**Weekday, Evening and Weekend Appointments Available** **Now seeing clients in Massachusetts and New Mexico** Are you caught up in a seemingly endless cycle of addiction to alcohol or drugs? Well, I have good news and bad news for you. Let’s start with the bad news: it takes significant effort to stop addictive behaviors, and to address the underlying emotional or trauma issues that compel you to relapse over and over again. There’s no magic wand, no Abracadabra. Now the good news: The cycle doesn’t have to be endless. Recovery is possible! I have 25 years experience working in the addictions and mental health treatment field--in settings ranging from group homes to treatment centers. I also specialize in teaching coping skills for trauma and emotions that tend to drive us back to our addictive behaviors. My approach is eclectic, client-centered, empathic, and goal-directed. I can help you chart a path to sobriety and wellness, and to begin to address the underlying reasons behind self-defeating behaviors or troubling emotions in the here and now. I offer virtual appointments.

The majority of my clients are non-binary, trans or gender expansive, and many are also neurodivergent. I believe in the importance of self-acceptance and self-compassion. As a result, I bring my genuine self to session, so you can feel comfortable unmasking or being authentic in our work together. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can be you and feel seen and heard. I enjoy incorporating geek culture into therapy sessions, and I will sometimes use metaphors or references to help you connect with your emotions and experiences in a way that is meaningful to you. As a therapist of multiple lived experiences (multiracial, queer, trans and neurodivergent), I'm sensitive to the impact of intersectionality, power, and oppression on communities and individual experiences. I work through anti-racist, social justice, and trauma-informed lenses, and I strive to recognize and acknowledge the multiple layers of discrimination and privilege that can impact the way we move through the world.
