Currently accepting new clients starting September 2025. Life can be difficult with challenges that get thrown our way. I work with adults 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, relationship concerns, trauma, and more. I value meeting the client where they are at and assisting them in discovering their strengths. It is important that an individual has a warm and safe space and that is one of my main goals to provide to others. I am licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I utilize a person-centered approach mixed with CBT to focus on providing unconditional positive regard and respect while guiding clients through life stressors, traumas, emotional regulation, and finding the right coping techniques for you. I want to thank you and tell you how proud I am that you took the first step in prioritizing yourself. I invite you to take this next step in your journey to healing.
Psychological suffering exists on different levels and manifests in different ways, in psyche, body, interpersonally, socially, both consciously and unconsciously. Thankfully, there are many ways to address psychological struggle, ranging from working with symptoms that are consciously experienced to the exploration of underlying non-conscious dynamics, many of which originate during the early years of one's life and impact one's relationship with self and others. My work is social justice-informed and incorporates an understanding of how larger socio-political systems impact our lives. Facilitating empowerment is key in my work. I provide a safe space and relationship in which to listen deeply, to your thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories, fantasies, and bodily experience. By learning to listen in new ways, we expand our capacity to hold more, respond with greater flexibility, clarity and ease, develop presence and compassion, and become empowered to make positive changes. I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness and Internal Family Systems. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples, and I specialize in a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, issues around individuation, existential questioning, embodiment difficulties, and relationship challenges.

Together, we can process experiences, explore curiosities, and engage in questioning all in an effort to find solace and resolution. My practice is via telehealth only with availability Monday through Saturday. I have immediate openings available. Email is the fastest way to communicate if you are interested in a free 15 minute consultation to determine if we're a "good fit."

I recently started my own practice, after being an associate therapist for a group for 3+ years. Environments that emphasized the importance of providing compassionate and quality care, with confidence to handle any complex situation. What I love most about my work is walking alongside people as they navigate life’s most difficult moments — grief, major life transitions, caregiving, serious illness, or the stress and uncertainty that comes with change. Life transitions can reshape how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our future. Big changes — divorce, moving, career shifts, chronic illness, or the death of someone you love — can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Therapy is not about “moving on” or “getting over” your grief or stress. It’s about learning how to carry life’s challenges while honoring your story. I specialize in relational therapy that helps individuals, parents, and families make sense of the grief, stress, and anxiety that often comes with life transitions, while building on your inherent strengths to achieve your goals. I use principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build practical skills for coping and managing difficult emotions. I strive to be an authentic, warm, and honest therapist that brings empathy, understanding, and a little lightness to healing. Please feel welcome to reach out for an initial phone consultation - I would love to see if we’re a good fit.
We all face challenges. When you do, it's wise to consult with someone who listens well and can help you identify the problems, develop strategies, and guide and encourage you to implement them. I have been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and systems-centered methods. I often draw upon wisdom, humor, and science to facilitate positive change. Whatever the challenge -- emotional, relational, or other -- we'll address it together.
I am an experienced psychotherapist (LICSW) and Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) working with individuals, couples and groups. I hold a PhD in biochemistry, which informs my work in psychotherapy by integrating current research in neurobiology into my treatment approach. I believe in the resilience of every human being and work to capitalize on the best in people I work with. I specialize in attachment trauma, loss, relationship issues, challenging life transitions and the negative coping styles that often accompany them. I am trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), an emotionally focused therapy heavily informed by neurobiology and how we heal relationally as social beings. Alongside of understanding you through your relationships and life experiences, we will highlight new experiences and positive change that will help you reach your goals. For more about AEDP go to www.AEDPInstitute.org. My broader training consists of proactive cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness techniques, stress reduction strategies, and relational and communication tools. My goal in working with you is to actively move you toward your goals. I run relationship groups for people who struggle with relationship issues. Please see my website for further information. My practice is LGBTQ welcoming and multiculturally informed.

Life often presents us with challenges that can be difficult to cope with alone. Whether these struggles come from our work, school, relationships or family dynamics, psychotherapy is often where solutions can be found. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we can unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I am available to work with you to achieve your goals. Know that you are not alone.
You feel trapped in thinking again and again about the same issue? You find yourself repeating same behavioral patterns? You live in self-judgment, guilt, sadness, and lack of good sleep? Does this all make you feel as you are not good enough and you should please others to be liked? And then the perceived failure as a partner, parent or a friend? Collaboratively, we can create a safe space to help you feel your feelings; increase your awareness; understand relationship patterns; and develop strategies to cope at home, work and in society. I provide individual therapy for people experiencing communication issues, anxiety, grief, school burnout, self esteem, peer relationships and women's issues. Specifically, I am interested in mindfulness, self-compassion, psychodynamic therapy, expressive arts therapy, hypnosis, cognitive-behavioral modalities (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Central to the therapy process is connecting with someone with whom you can openly explore your past and present; thoughts, feelings, and wishes. As a therapist I am committed to helping you understand the important experiences and patterns that have influenced your life and begin to find openings for new insights and greater meaning. This can allow for personal growth, more fulfilling relationships, and improved coping with difficulties. My style is collaborative, supportive and interactive. My approach involves both facilitating personal exploration and helping you find new strategies for managing difficulty. People who come to see me are often struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, eating/body image concerns, or struggling with transitions in young adulthood
