Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist. One of my areas of emphasis is counseling undergraduate and graduate students who are navigating the complexities of college life and balancing the demands that often accompany this time. It is common for these years to bring discovery and connection as well as stress, pressure and anxiety. In collaboration, we can work through what is challenging or making you feel stuck or avoidant. We can address mental health concerns that may be disrupting your path. We will look at your day-to-day functioning as well as the bigger picture of your life. I will support you in taking meaningful steps towards your goals. I have extensive specialized experience treating OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and BFRBs. While in training, I also completed an internship at a college counseling center where I had the wonderful opportunity to counsel students entering healthcare professions. It can be helpful for potential clients to know ahead of time that I am "in- network" with Boston University Aetna Student Health specifically. If you have this insurance, your visits are covered and you are only responsible for your copay. In all other cases, I am "out-of network." I am happy to offer a superbill invoice you can submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement, if you have out-of-network benefits and are eligible for reimbursement. If you aren't sure whether you do, you can call the phone number on your insurance card to ask. I am licensed in MA and CT. I look forward to getting to know you!
You deserve a therapist who really sees you, not just your symptoms. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma across the lifespan. My approach is warm and collaborative, rooted in evidence-based and trauma-informed practices like CBT and DBT. I also incorporate creativity, mindfulness, and the things that matter to you, whether that’s music, art, sports, or storytelling. Before opening my private practice, I served as the Clinical Program Director of a Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) unit, where I supported individuals in acute mental health crises. Prior to that, I worked as a Trauma-Focused sports-based clinician and Program Coordinator, integrating play, movement, and expressive arts to help clients heal in ways that felt empowering and culturally responsive. I've also worked with perpetrators and victims of domestic violence and co-authored publications on Alzheimer's research in medical journals. Across every setting, my focus has always been the same: creating a safe, personalized space that focuses on the client's needs. My practice is exclusively telehealth for your convenience and privacy. I welcome adults (18+) seeking meaningful support, not just surface-level solutions. You deserve a space to slow down and feel truly supported. So let’s figure out what works for you together. Please visit my website below to schedule a free 15 minute consultation. The best mental health care occurs when the patient's needs are prioritized and deeply integrated into the treatment plan. Whether you're dealing with anxious thoughts, phobias, learning difficulties, physical symptoms tied to mental health, depression, grief, or feeling like a dark cloud is always blocking out your light, help is available. By creating a judgment-free environment that fosters safe and open communication, we’ll work together to carefully assess your or your loved one’s unique situation and develop the most effective care plan. I believe the key to addressing many unwanted feelings and behaviors lies in combining holistic and pharmacological approaches, including modifying one's environment, engaging in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and using medications to address chemical imbalances in the brain. As your provider, I will work diligently to create a personalized medication plan that alleviates your challenges while minimizing tolerable side effects. Additionally, using evidence-based measurement tools, we can track treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments along the way. Chi is all about helping you feel more present in your life. With a fusion of cognitive-behavioral therapy, talk therapy, and Eastern philosophies, Chi brings a fresh perspective to help you. Imagine feeling more present, less stressed, and in tune with your mind, body, and spirit. That's Chi's mission – to empower you to thrive holistically. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression or just need someone to talk to, Chi is your ally, dedicated to co-creating positive changes that resonate with you. A typical session begins with a brief check-in; we then proceed to engage in mindfulness or somatic-centered exercises designed to enhance coping skills. Toward the end of the session, we integrate these skills, empowering you to overcome distress and feel more present in your daily life. My journey started unexpectedly one day by chance or fate when I stumbled upon a book on Eastern philosophy and mindfulness while browsing through a thrift store. It was a serendipitous moment that introduced me to mindfulness and its potential to improve well-being. Intrigued by what I read, I found myself drawn into the practice of mindfulness. This newfound passion eventually inspired me to pursue a master's degree in counseling, setting me on the path I'm on today. I strive to create an open and safe environment for collaboration and exploration with my clients. My approach is anti-oppressive and I celebrate each individual's expression of identity and cultural differences.

My style is warm and engaged, holding an accepting/non-judgmental stance. I draw specifically from humanistic, relational, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral approaches to support my clients in enhancing self-awareness/insight, reducing distress, and ultimately achieving a greater quality of life.
