My approach to therapy is grounded in narrative therapy, with the belief that how you understand and relate to your problems shapes your ability to move forward. Whether it’s depression that leaves you feeling stuck, anxiety that chips away at your confidence, or shame that strains your relationships—we'll explore how these experiences impact your life. Many of these struggles are shaped by external pressures around success, identity, and expectations. In therapy, we’ll work together to uncover what feels authentic and meaningful to you. I offer a collaborative and transparent space for healing. While rooted in narrative therapy, I integrate CBT and DBT techniques to support your growth. My experience includes depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and relationship challenges. At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for your voice and values. My goal is for you to feel empowered and at the center of your healing process. If you’re feeling disconnected from yourself or your path, we can work together to help you find your way back.

I think of this work as a combination of life coaching and therapy. We will focus on your day to day life challenges, noticing the patterns that lead to success as well as those patterns that get in your way. While doing this we can strengthen and celebrate what is working, become aware of patterns that are not working and create new patterns resulting in a better life. In my practice we can do both in-person and/or Telehealth. If we are to meet in-person I like to meet you where you are at literally and figuratively. I do not see people in an office. In my time as a clinician I have learned that some of the best work is done on a walk or a drive, while at a coffee shop or some other cool place that you know. Give me a call and see if I feel like a good fit.

For anyone who has ever been accused of being too emotional, too sensitive, too wild; for anyone who doesn't fit into the boxes society has created for us; for anyone who has struggled to find their place in the world-- you are the kinds of clients I want to work with. I invite you to join me in an exploration of self, where you are the expert of your own life and I am your guide, supporting you on your path to becoming. With your consent, I will hold space for you and will be honored to be a witness to your growth. What does it mean to hold space? It means the way in which we connect, the way in which I help you to feel safe, knowing that I will accept and validate your feelings and experiences while still holding you accountable, but always with the utmost softness and tenderness. I will assist you in finding your voice- that is, learning how to identify and verbalize what you want and need for yourself and from others. I am a clinical psychologist with 15 years’ experience working with clients in a variety of settings and presenting with a wide range of diagnoses and concerns including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, workplace issues, relationship issues, perinatal mood disorders, parent child attachment difficulties, and parenting challenges. I have worked with children, adolescents, college students and adults. one of my practice areas focuses on providing therapy to college and graduate students. While this can be an exciting and inspiring time, there are many factors (identity issues, social anxiety, academic pressures, relationship problems, ect) that can also make it a challenging time to navigate. I use my clinical experience in college settings and in private practice to help college students process feelings and develop coping skills so they can feel more competent and confident. My years of experience has taught me that the fit between a therapist and the client is a significant factor in whether a client feels their therapy is helpful. I use my intuition to tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual client so that we both feel that we are moving forward in a way that feels supportive and productive.
